Dr. Shari Tahririan’s journey into dentistry was inspired by her lifelong passion for art. Raised in Oregon, her love for painting, sculpture, and meticulous detail found a perfect home in the world of dental care. Dr. Tahririan began her academic career in Portland, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Art from Portland State University in 2003. She then achieved her dental degree from Oregon Health & Science University in 2007. After practicing in Portland for three years, she moved to San Diego to further her professional goals.

Dr. Steven Paul, well known as Dr. P, was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Inspired by his father, a compassionate dentist, Dr. P dedicated his childhood to understanding the human body, with early class projects focusing on the skeletal and musculoskeletal systems.
Dr. P attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, pursuing Integrative and Organismal Biology. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the prestigious UCLA School of Dentistry, graduating at the top of his class. His passion for oral surgery flourished during this time, inspiring him to move on to medical school. At the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, he earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and went on to complete a rigorous General Surgery Internship and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency.
